The National Association of
Travel Agents Singapore (Natas) will keep its next travel reasonable
previously, to avoid a conflict with a competing reasonable.
The Natas reasonable will take
position from March 6 to 8 at the Singapore Expo, three weeks before than
previously declared, according to a round sent out to its members on Thursday.
The round mentioned that despite "significant adjustments" by Natas,
the other side was going forward with its reasonable.
"Natas considers the above
schedules and location to be most suitable for participants and customers as
well. It will take position soon after the Fifteenth day of Chinese New Year
and the end of the week just before the Goal summer break," it said.
"This reveals the window for last minute university holiday
trip reservations." A Natas spokesperson verified that the
schedules have been shifted on, The Straits Times revealed.
Last week, 24 travel
organizations declared their decision to opt out of the Natas reasonable and
keep their own reasonable from March 27 to 29, the unique schedules of the
Natas reasonable. Associates of the organizations, such as major ones Dynasty
Travel, SA Trips, CTC Journey and Chan Brothers, mentioned several issues, such
as a lack of visibility by Natas.
Natas then made some discounts,
saying its travel exhibitions buy will have free entrance, lower unit lease
expenses and better advertising.
But the breakaway group said it
would go forward with their Outbound Travel Fair, at The Beaches Expo and
Conference Center. Natas' "sincerity in the long run is in doubt",
Empire Travel's home of emails Alicia Seah was estimated as saying.
